LONG ISLAND, NY — Residents across Long Island looked to brilliant blue skies Friday as they saluted front line heroes during a flyover by the New York Air National Guard's 106th Rescue Wing. The flyover began Friday just after noon at the ANG base at Gabreski Airport. Gabreski Airport, will conduct a flyover salute for health care workers, first responders and essential employees on Friday — and now, an expanded flight path has been released that includes a long list of local hospitals.
