Master Builders have created a program with a holistic approach to preparing you to become the best quality 1st year Carpentry Apprentice! Building Up runs an intensive pre-apprenticeship trades training program for individuals who face barriers to employment. Arkansans who want to start a career in information technology can apply for Pre-Apprentice Programs offered through a partnership between the University of Arkansas Professional and Workforce Development, the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services, the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District, the Arkansas Center for Data Science, and the Northwest Arkansas Council. Apprenticeship is also an “earn and learn” model – apprentices receive a paycheck from day one, so they earn wages while they learn on the job. PACE is a 11 week, 3 days a week, high-quality pre-apprenticeship training at our North Training Facility in Seattle, WA that helps individuals obtain family wage careers in construction trades.The PACE Program helps adults gain the knowledge, physical, and technical trades skills needed to be competitive to successfully apply and be accepted into an apprenticeship.

Master Builders Pre-Apprenticeship Program is the first step you should be taking! As a Pre-Apprentice, you will learn to handle carpentry tools and equipment, complete small projects and learn to work as a team in a simulated site and workshop environment. This intensive program provides occupational training with industry-recognized certifications,blueprint reading, construction math,and job readiness training. We give housing providers an opportunity to connect work that needs to get done in their buildings with the people in their buildings that need the work.
