The Documentary Media Studies certificate is awarded for successful completion of a one-year, full-time, graduate-level program of study, a unique opportunity to explore documentary filmmaking in a small, intensive program in New York City, the world's documentary capital. The Documentary Studies graduate certificate program, or Doc Studies, at the School of Media Studies has been selected to screen several films at DOC NYC, the country’s largest documentary festival, which takes place Nov. 9-16.
